Umi Omakase delivers an incredible value for a true omakase experience. The 14-piece tasting flows beautifully, highlighting freshness, balance, and technique. Every piece felt intentionally curated, with clean flavors and thoughtful pacing.
The standout for me was the fatty tuna—luxuriously rich, melt-in-your-mouth, and easily the star of the night. It was the kind of bite that makes you stop mid-sentence. Other pieces were also impressive, but the toro stole the show.
For $98, the quality and craftsmanship exceed expectations. Intimate, well-executed, and absolutely worth visiting if you want premium sushi without the ultra-premium price tag.
