Modavie, located in Old Montreal, is a cozy bistro that beautifully captures French cuisine’s essence. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a delightful dining experience.
I started with the escargots de Bourgogne, tender and rich in garlic herb butter. For the main course, the coq au vin was succulent, with deep flavors from the red wine sauce and perfectly cooked potatoes.
Dessert was a standout: the tarte Tatin, warm with caramelized apples and a scoop of vanilla ice cream, was the ideal finish.
Service was attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. Modavie is a must-visit for anyone wanting to savor authentic French dishes in a vibrant setting—highly recommended!
