The Kamayan feast for two at Lamesa was a delightful dive into Filipino cuisine, now a missed gem since its closure. The fresh seafood was the star of the meal—grilled shrimp and succulent fish, perfectly seasoned and beautifully arranged on banana leaves.
Accompanied by flavorful garlic rice and tangy dipping sauces, the meal was a true celebration of Filipino cuisine. Eating with hands added an authentic touch, making the experience even more memorable. It’s a shame this restaurant is gone, but the joy of that feast will linger on. If you ever get the chance to experience a Kamayan feast, don’t miss it!
